Trauma and chronic stress aren’t just stories held in the mind. They exist as learned survival responses within the body and nervous system. When these responses remain active, insight alone often isn’t enough to create lasting change.
Unlike mindset work or talk therapy, somatic healing works bottom-up – directly engaging the nervous system, where emotional and survival responses are generated and stored.
When the body learns safety at a physiological level, the brain no longer needs to maintain protective patterns like chronic anxiety, shutdown, or hypervigilance. Change becomes sustainable not because you’re trying harder, but because your system no longer perceives constant threat.

How Do I Know This?

Hi, I’m Miranda.
I hold a degree in Psychology and spent years studying the mind and human behavior. While that foundation was valuable, I quickly saw its limitations. Insight alone didn’t reach the deeper layers where emotional pain, stress, and trauma actually live.
That realization led me to somatic and nervous system–based healing.
As a certified, trauma-informed somatic coach, I work with the body as the foundation for change — supporting the nervous system to restore safety, regulation, and emotional resilience.
This isn’t just theoretical for me. It’s personal, lived, and deeply practiced — both in my own healing and in the work I do with clients.
